Stepping into the tent to kick off The Great Celebrity Bake Off are comedian Harry Hill, Spandau Ballet’s Martin Kemp, actress and writer Roisin Conaty and veteran broadcaster Bill Turnbull.
In each episode, hosts Sandi Toksvig and Noel Fielding are joined by four different celebrities including Australia’s own Tim Minchin, actress Teri Hatcher, English comedian Alan Carr and television and radio star Melanie Sykes.
They’re all aiming to impress judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith with their baking skills.

New? isn’t this from 2018?
Hi Justin – this is a brand new series.
Yes. A “brand new series” that originally aired in its native UK four years ago. That’s when Teri Hatcher did the show. Justin is correct.
But, hey, I grew up in Australia where every year half the “hit new series” from America had been canceled six months earlier. Not such hits and not so new after all.
Australia deserves better than four year old bread. At this rate, James McAvoy’s 2021 season will finally show up in 2025. Hopefully he’ll still be alive by then.
Hi Luke – there is no urgency with shows like this to do international deals. Also sometimes their isn’t the opportunity to get them into international markets faster. Doesn’t matter what we might like. C’est la vie.
