It was a night of two halves for Nine as Celeb Apprentice triumphs and The Weakest Link continues to struggle.
A bigger Home & Away (657,000) helps Seven at the start, and a stronger Big Brother Australia (617,000), even though second, lifts Seven earlier in the night. A repeat of MOVIE: Deadpool (241,000) helps them take the win across the evening.
Seven first in both primary (20.6%) and network (29.9%) rankings.
A Current Affair (732,000) slides up a little for Nine given it’s ahead of the following finale. Celebrity Apprentice Australia (614,000 show; 733,000 winner) ticks into first (674,000 average) which aren’t the biggest numbers however enough to win the time slot. The Weakest Link (318,000) is up from last week’s series low though still not great, followed by repeats of Kath & Kim (167,000; 121,000) that complete the night. This later run is really hurting Nine’s opportunity to capitalise on the earlier night wins.
Nine second in both primary (18.8%) and network (26.9%) rankings.
7:30 (557,000) and Anh’s Brush With Fame (523,000) land fourth in the time slot (540,000 average), though build a solid foundation for the night. Having a stronger 8:30pm with Finding the Archibald (402,000) helped a lot as Fightback Farmers (186,000) and China Tonight (103,000) close out the schedule.
ABC third in primary (12.1%) and fourth in network (17%) rankings.
The Project (289,000 6:30pm; 459,000 7pm) slips for 10, as does MasterChef Australia (563,000). How To Stay Married (245,000) slips down–again–and double repeat eps of NCIS (182,000; 161,000) run out the schedule.
10 fourth in primary (11.5%) and third in network (18.2%) rankings.
Who Do You Think You Are? Australia (290,000) starts the night for SBS as their best, followed by their usual schedule of current affairs for Tuesday: Insight (156,000), Dateline (160,000), and The Feed (84,000).
SBS fifth in both primary (5.4%) and network (8%) rankings.
