A stint in quarantine, a look at filming schedules and a star wanting to make her name as a singer has led to a major reveal

Readers of TV Blackbox believe they have uncovered one of the contestants for this years edition of THE MASKED SINGER.

BE WARNED – POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD

It all started with a harmless Instagram post from UK star Charlotte Crosby, who revealed she was spending two weeks in quarantine in Australia for work reasons.

While Charlotte has said in her Instagram stories she is coming out for her Nova podcast Values And Vibrators, our internet sleuths didn’t believe the cover story.

Twitter user Leon Sjogren contacted me with a hunch the Geordie Shore star would soon be seen on Celebrity MasterChef.

But as TV Blackbox has previously reported Celebrity MasterChef starts filming tomorrow and Crosby has only recently begun her two-week quarantine, so that squashes that idea.

This website can now reveal The Masked Singer is currently in pre-production and will begin filming from July 3, just as Crosby comes out of lockdown.

In March Crosby made headlines when she released a video of her singing Adele’s Rolling In The Deep, which has only fuelled speculation from our amateur detectives.

As twitter user Higgo put it:

The singing of Crosby for The Masked Singer makes sense due to 10’s past association with the star. In 2020 she appeared on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! and generated a ton of publicity.

10 will certainly be hoping her star power pays off again.
