LILIBET’S GRANDDAD – WORLD EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW
The arrival of a new baby is always a special time and this week there have been plenty of well wishes for Harry and Meghan following the birth of their second child, a daughter. Part of the joy is an expectation that Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor will help to restore some much-needed harmony in the Royal family, battered after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex aired their grievances in tell-all TV interviews. On the Markle side of the family though, Lilibet’s granddad Thomas remains persona non-grata. And that’s why he has given a world exclusive interview to 60 MINUTES. As Tom Steinfort reports, Thomas Markle’s wish is that his daughter and son-in-law will somehow see this story, accept his apology for past embarrassments, and listen to his heartfelt plea to be a part of his grandchildren’s lives.

BOOM AND DOOM
Forget about weekend footy, the fiercest turf war playing out in Australia at present is the battle for bricks and mortar. The housing market, long a source of wild intrigue, has gone positively ballistic. Prices all over the country are on the rise, and analysts are baffled about where and when it is all going to end. Sarah Abo reports that it’s great news for some people who are making unthinkable amounts of money virtually overnight, but disastrous for others who are contemplating the very real possibility they will never own their own home.

I forget how many times my father who was just like this petty, little man … did things to me over and over again.
Each time, he’d apologize swearing he changed. Nope, he didn’t.
I hope for their Childrens’ sake they do not take him to heart.
