Working Dog’s panel show continues to lift 10’s hopes at the top of the week (they should be paying them more money!).

Home & Away (593,000) starts the week reasonably for Seven, though down on last week. Big Brother Australia (620,000) picks up a neat win on a Mondayi ahead of some tight competition. US dramas 9-1-1 (318,000) and S.W.A.T. (172,000) round out Seven’s night.
Seven first in both primary (19.3%) and network (28%) rankings.

A Current Affair (807,000) does the job again for Nine, starting big out of the News. Celebrity Apprentice Australia (609,000 entire show!) lands in a unique position – due to a coding error the show gives us an average for the entire show in the official numbers, landing it in third place in the slot. Nine supplied the splits, so had they delivered as expected it would look more like (601,000 show; 641,000 boardroom; 621,000 average) and come in first…but split-coding and math are not good partners. Either way it’s down on last night and last week. Emergency (300,000) does reasonable but can’t compete with 10’s offering, down slightly on last week. Then the the various footy analysis shows 100% Footy (52,000) [BNE/SYD] and Footy Classified (120,000) [MEL/ADL/PER] take hold to run out the clock.
Nine second in both primary (18.8%) and network (26.6%) rankings.

The Project (339,000 6:30pm; 551,000 7pm) manages to lift its numbers from a light Sunday (which isn’t a bad thing). MasterChef Australia (615,000) again benefits from being the lead-in to the biggest show of the week as its numbers lift reasonably from last night as it lands second in the time slot. Have You Been Paying Attention? (709,000) again punches well above its weight, landing in first place for primetime even though it was down slightly on last week’s stellar figures. The repeat of How To Stay Married (196,000) really shouldn’t have bothered, and a new Just For Laughs (98,000) draws the curtains on 10’s night.
10 third in both primary (14.7%) and network (22.5%) rankings.

The ABC’s Monday night is doing OK, but hasn’t really found the place it used to inhabit in previous years. 7:30 (604,000) and Australian Story (538,000) land a reasonable but distant fourth in the timeslot (571,000 average), while Four Corners (385,000) and Media Watch (397,000) both drop due to a non-Australian-centric story on the former of the pair. Baby Surgeons (164,000) can get their hands into so many smaller places than adult hands, so it makes sense we employ them in this way.
ABC fourth in both primary (11.2%) and network (15.3%) rankings.

A lacklustre night for SBS, with nothing really capturing much attention. Every one of the shows tonight – a repeat of Secrets of the Tower of London (172,000), Secret Scotland (202,000), and 24 Hours in Emergency (133,000) – were all down on last week’s figures.
SBS fifth in both primary (4.8%) and network (7.6%) rankings.

KEY DEMOS
16-39: Have You Been Paying Attention? (197,000) way out in front of Big Brother, Masterchef Australia, Nine News 6pm, and The Project 7pm.

25-54: Completing the trio of demo wins, Have You Been Paying Attention? (382,000) leads home Nine News 6pm/6:30pm, Seven News 6pm, and Big Brother.
