Is Willy Wonka a Child Serial Killer?

The bizarre theory has been spreading around the internet… but it actually makes sense!

How many of these kids made it out of Willy Wonka’s factory alive?

How’s this for a conspiracy theory… Willy Wonka is a child serial killer.
That’s the fan theory going around about the popular film – Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

The theory goes that the main character purposefully choosing terrible children to visit his factory — so he can kill them.

The theory is based on the idea that Wonka intentionally chose his victims for the tour and tempted them with a weakness he knew they would succumb to, leading to their deaths.

Augustus Gloop is sucked into the chocolate river.

Veruca Salt is projected down an ambiguous garbage shoot.

Violet Beauregarde is turned into a human blueberry

Mike Teevee is shrunk to 3 inches.

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory never details exactly what happened to the four spoiled kids, but while we might have assumed they were ok… those incidents could have actually led to their deaths.

The idea has blown my mind so much I spoke about it on two of my shows – The Anj, Rob & Robbo Show and my true crime video podcast Monsters Who Murder: Serial Killer Confessions (with some great insight from the Serial Killer Whisperer, best selling True Crime author and criminologist Amanda Howard).

Take a look and let us know your thoughts.
