The NBA Playoffs move to the Conference Semi Final stage with a week of blockbuster matchups on ESPN Australia New Zealand.

With the first round of the playoffs behind us, already we know we will see a new NBA champion, with the Los Angeles Lakers falling to progress past the Phoenix Suns.

16 teams have now become eight, as they look to move on towards the finals.

ESPN kick starts the Conference Semi Finals with back-to-back live NBA double headers on Tuesday June 8 and Wednesday June 9.

Tuesday sees the Milwaukee Bucks face the Brooklyn Nets in game two of their Conference Semi Final series at 9.30am AEST on ESPN.

The Denver Nuggets then follow against the Phoenix Suns at 12pm AEST, as they open their series.

Local interests then take centre stage on Wednesday, as Ben Simmons and the Philadelphia 76ers and Joe Ingles and the Utah Jazz are in action.

Kicking off at 9.30am AEST, the top seeded 76ers look to bounce back from an opening game defeat to the Atlanta Hawks.

Following at 12pm AEST are Western top seeds, the Jazz, who will face the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Clippers will have to respond quickly, having only booked their place in the Conference Semi Finals after a tough seven-game series win over the Dallas Mavericks on Monday AEST.

Philadelphia and Utah progressed through the first round in just five games, and the pair remain the teams to beat in 2021.

ESPN closes out the week with further live double headers on both Friday and Saturday, setting the stage for a bumper June long weekend of NBA action.
