7 News Spotlight has been doing massive business for Seven, however the wheels fell off the roller coaster last night.

Celebrity Apprentice Australia (668,000 show; 776,000 board room) Lands a solid start for Nine, landing a win in the 7pm time slot (722,000 average). 60 Minutes (588,000) follows suit, though with some viewer attrition. It still landed up on last week. Law & Order: Organised Crime (127,000) completes the night as the audience fades.
Nine first in both primary (20.9%) and network (28.4%) rankings.

7 News Spotlight: Ride of Your Life (571,000) down 200k on last week – does the audience prefer UFOs to people dying at fun parks? A repeat of MOVIE: Taken (256,000) keeps and audience to the end for Seven, down on last week’s movie in the same slot. Lots of movies happening post primetime reality for Seven. A trial trend, or a sign that post-9pm there’s a lazy audience for a blockbuster?
Seven second in both primary (18.2%) and network (27.4%) rankings.

Spicks and Specks (575,000) the ABC’s strongest by far, and up by nearly 100k on last week’s ep. The finale of Wakefield (203,000) up marginally, and Smother (136,000) and a repeat of Unforgotten (74,000) close out Aunty’s evening.
ABC fourth in both primary (10.4%) and network (14.4%) rankings.

A triple episode of Anne Boleyn: Arrest, Trial, Execution (177,000) runs most fo SBS’s night, and the later evening Vitamania: The Truth About Vitamins (???,000) draws a number so small it doesn’t even make most reports.
