Shane van Gisbergen will be looking to consolidate his series lead when the Supercars’ fifth-round roars into action at Winton Motor Raceway, with race 12 on Saturday and races 13 and 14 on Sunday.
The Kiwi star has gone winless since claiming 2021’s opening six races and a star-studded chasing pack led by Jamie Whincup, Chaz Mostert, Will Davison, Cameron Waters and Mark Winterbottom will go full throttle at Winton in a bid to shake up the Championship standings.
On both race days this weekend, Seven will show a one-hour highlights package, with viewers in all capital cities able to catch the very best action on 7plus from 8.30pm AEST and then on demand.
Saturday’s highlights will also be shown on Channel 7 and 7mate directly following Seven’s AFL broadcast (Gold Coast v Hawthorn at Darwin’s TIO Stadium) in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide, from 11.00pm AEST. They will be shown in Perth on Channel 7 at 12.00am local time.
Sunday’s highlights will screen on Channel 7 at 12.00am local time in all capital cities.
Three two-hour encores of both days’ highlights will also run in all capitals next week on 7mate, starting at 3.30pm local time on Monday, 12.00am on Tuesday and 10.00am on Friday.
Seven’s Supercars coverage then ramps up on 19-20 June with the Merlin Darwin Triple Crown live and free from Hidden Valley Raceway.
