It’s almost like no footy and no other reality gives 10’s cooking show a chance.

Seven score a rare non-AFL-attributed win, again largely off the back of their News product. A triple ep of Home & Away (500,000) did it’s usual not much, and a repeat of MOVIE: The Equalizer 2 (119,000) absolutely crashed, though The Front Bar (339,000) was swapped around to suit the AFL-loving markets. It was enough.
Seven second in both primary (20.4%) and network (30.9%) rankings.

Nine land a win at 7pm as usual with A Current Affair (689,000), but that’s where their happy hunting ends. Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? Sports Special (351,000) draws a crowd kind of, and isn’t supported well after with repeats of Emergency (189,000) and Kings Cross ER (77,000). Still, WWTBAM did better than the NRL does most Thursdays.
Nine first in both primary (16.9%) and network (24.7%) rankings.

10 still see The Project (280,000 6:30pm; 431,000 7pm) trail as we head to the end of the week, though the free air at 7:30pm meant MasterChef Australia (572,000) wins the timeslot and is the highest-rating entertainment show for the night. Gulp. New & episodes of Law & Order: SVU (252,000; 172,000) and the third last ep of highly-underrated US drama This Is Us (96,000) complete their night.
10 third in both primary (13.1%) and network (20.1%) rankings.

The ABC’s Budget week is always though, though Budget 2021: Opposition Reply (337,000) did a reasonable number (never as good as the Tuesday night) and a bumped 7:30 (274,000) ended up being almost competitive in the timeslot. Q+A (232,000) continues to slump in Thursday night with it’s second hit at its third lowest ratings figure this season. BLERGH – just fix it by moving it back to Mondays already. A repeat of David Attenborough series Singapore’s Secret Forests (128,000) rounds out their night.
ABC fourth in both primary (9.5%) and network (14.3%) rankings.

BREKKY BATTLE
Sunrise (274,000)
The Today Show (204,000)
