FIVE BEDROOMS moves to PARAMOUNT+ as Channel 10 confirms launch date for new streaming service

Channel 10 has today confirmed an Australian launch date for its new subscription streaming service Paramount+

The new subscription video streaming service, Paramount+ which replaces its current platform 10 All Access will launch in Australia on Wednesday, 11 August 2021.

As part of the announcement Channel 10 has also confirmed the highly anticipated second season of Australian drama, Five Bedrooms will now premiere exclusively on the subscription streaming platform.

Its a move which is bound to upset some fans whom will now have to pay watch new episodes after the first season aired on Channel 10 in 2019.

Priced at just $8.99 per month, subscribers will have access to more than 20,000 episodes and blockbuster movies throughout the year with Channel 10 promising Paramount+ will “delight Australian audiences with unique stories, iconic stars and a mountain of entertainment.” 

Series available at launch on the new platform iclude The First Lady, Dexter, Anne Boleyn, Leonardo, The Godfather, Mission: Impossible and PAW Patrol.   

Channel 10 is promising more premium locally produced drama content is on its way for Paramount+ with Spreadsheet, Last King of The Cross and 6 Festivals, commencing production soon.  

Featuring premium entertainment for audiences of all ages, Paramount+ will boast an expansive library of original series, hit shows and popular movies across every genre from world-renowned brands and production studios including SHOWTIME®, BET, CBS, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, Paramount Pictures, the Smithsonian Channel and Sony Pictures Television, in addition to a robust offering of premier local content.

  1. I think that is totally wrong to have to pay to see the second series of five bedrooms. I personally won’t be doing that, and I am considering swopping my allegiance to another channel. I have supported you for years. But it will change if you do this money grabbing deal.
