Australian drama series THE RECKONING finally gets an airdate on Seven

Channel Seven has confirmed a local premiere date for the Australian produced crime drama The Reckoning.

The 10-episode drama series was filmed and produced in Sydney back in 2018 by Sony Pictures. The series premiered to mixed reviews in the US last year on the AXN Network.

The decision to air the locally produced series in a Wednesday timeslot will see it compete directly against another Australian drama, Doctor Doctor on Nine.

When an infamous serial killer who has gone dormant for years is believed to have killed again, two families in a quiet, suburban neighbourhood are put on a dangerous collision course.

Homicide Detective Mike Serrato (Aden Young) and High School Guidance Counselor Leo Doyle (Sam Trammell) have struggled for years to do what is best for the people they love and the families they are desperate to protect.

But when old obsessions begin to possess them, the murder of a local teenager sets Mike and Leo on a course of mutual destruction that will emanate through every facet of their lives.

Episode One of The Reckoning premieres Wednesday 28th April at 9:00PM on Channel 7 and continues on May 5th
