Women’s sport in Australia is bigger than ever.

At the elite level the AFL and NRL have started women’s competitions in recent years and most female sporting codes are in a phase of unprecedented growth.

But new research shows that female athletes are not only more likely to sustain a concussion in any given sport – they also tend to have more severe symptoms and take longer to recover.

Presented by Marc Fennell, Alice Matthews and Alex Lee, the multi Walkley Award-winning program continues to break new ground with its compelling mix of current affairs and comedy, interviews, and investigations.

The Feed airs Tuesday, 13 April at 10.00pm on SBS and On Demand
