Amid ongoing sex scandals rocking Parliament and speculation about cabinet shakeups, the Government has been in the news for all the wrong reasons of late.

Tracy Grimshaw questions the Prime Minister over the Government’s handling of allegations involving Brittany Higgins, Christian Porter and Lynda Reynolds, and why the Prime Minister did not address the thousands of women who marched on Parliament House.

With a 40-year history of being one of Australia’s greatest interviewers, Tracy asks the PM the tough questions that are on all Australians’ minds.

“Do you understand why this issue has dogged the government for this past month? Why it has not blown over and gone away, do you understand?”

“You’re not on an island, maybe you’re in a bubble in Canberra, I don’t know, but you’re not on an island, you’ve got a wife, you’ve got daughters who go to school, you know, you’ve referenced them several times, how did you not know the depth of it? “

This and more on a special edition of A Current Affair, tonight at 7:00pm AEDT on Channel 9 and 9Now.

  1. What has happened recently ( and forever in the past) is disgusting and reprehensible. However not all males are ogres and not all females are saints. I have been grabbed on the crotch, asked if I had something in my pocket or was I pleased to see her, which side do I wear my genitals and so on . As a male I am told that I really liked those comments …wrong ladies !! My point is a large number of men love and respect women , a large number of females love and respect males. The rotten scum in the middle need to be “educated” . Unfortunately it is no longer a sign of respect to open a car door for a lady, or walk on the outside. Or stand back and let her through first. But many of us still like to do these things because we were taught to do so by our mothers , and fathers. Not many mothers of today teach their boys these basic levels of respect.
So PLEASE remember Tracey that many many males do care for and respect our wives, daughters , sisters and female acquaintances and females in general. Unfortunately though we cannot voice our frustration because we are then branded sexist and descriminatory. In the absence of a royal commission not ALL men are guilty.
