The ABC’s commitment to quality journalism pushes hard as Nine’s relationship reality shit show leans in hard.
A Current Affair (752,000) lands big again as they cover off the latest Parliament House controversy and flood issues. Married At First Sight (1,040,000) is still big – continuing over one million every ep this week, but the audience vanished for Botched (354,000). Nine first in both primary (24.7%) & network (32.3%) shares.
Home and Away (568,000) lands as Seven’s best by a long way. Britain’s Got Talent: The Acts That Stormed The World (321,000) never seems to rate, and then US dramas The Good Doctor (308,000) and The Resident (178,000) keeps the fans happy. Seven second in both primary (15.3%) & network (23.8%) shares.
7:30Â (610,000) maintains the rage on Canberra, however the audience not so connected with Foreign Correspondent (434,000) or Exposed: The Ghost Train Fire (399,000) – just as well the latter available on iview as it was excellent investigative journalism. A repeat of The Truth About Getting Fit (186,000) rates marginally better than the test pattern. ABC third in both primary (13.3%) & network (18.3%) shares.
The Project (282,000 6:30pm; 439,000 7pm) down for 10 even after they broke the latest controversy at Parliament House on Monday. The penultimate episode of The Amazing Race Australia (503,000) down even on this week’s audience – too many pre-determined non-elimination legs. New and repeat eps of NCIS (283,000; 202,000) barely serviced fans. 10 still fourth in both primary (11.1%) & network (17.7%) shares.
