Evening current affairs program The Project has celebrated the 1-year anniversary of COVID lockdowns by returning a fourth panellist to the programs desk.

Radio presenter Kate Langbroek joined show regulars Waleed Aly, Carrie Bickmore and Peter Helliar as the program made an important move back to its regular format last night.

The past 12 months has seen the programs fourth panellist being required to interact with show’s hosts from a separate studio to help ensure COVID distancing.

Channel 10 is yet to advise if a studio audience will return to the show in the near future.

The Project hosts used the opening of last night’s program to joke about how weird it felt to be sitting so close to each other, and the move to allow a fourth panellist at the desk on the night after Steve Price had appeared…
