While Harry and Meghan are wrapping fish and chips this week for some reason Seven went big on the Royals for some reason and nobody cared.

In what’s becoming a trend, another massive night for Nine. A Current Affair (689,000) looms large at 7pm, and nothing challenges Married At First Sight (979,000).
Under Investigation (530,000) up on last week though down on week one. After that it was all about the boot and ball: 100% Footy (79,000) (BNE/SYD) or Footy Classified (127000) (MEL/ADL/PER). Nine first in both primary (25.5%) & network (33.2%) shares.

In what’s becoming a trend, another diabolical night for Seven. Home and Away (575,000) head and shoulders their best, with their special Declassified: The Royal Scandals (246,000) vanishing into fourth in the slot. (Mind you, still did better than Ultimate Tag Australia (64,000) now buried over on 7flix.) The Latest from Buckingham Palace (211,000) carried on that puzzling programming choice, while US dramas 9-1-1- (207,000) and The Rookie (186,000) complete a woeful night. Seven second only because of their 6-7pm News product in both primary (15%) & network (22.9%) shares.

ABC’s Monday night maintained it’s push quality current affairs. 7:30 (617,000) into Australian Story (577,000), followed by a gob-smacking Four Corners (453,000) and an ironically timed Media Watch (439,000) looking at royal commentators and the foibles therein kept a reasonably solid audience. Being Frank: The Frank Gardiner Story (189,000) and a repeat of You Can’t Ask That (102,000) shed the audience from 9:30pm. ABC third in primary (13.2%) & fourth network (17.9%) shares.

10’s Monday is still all over the place. The Project (289,000 6:30pm; 454,000 7pm) soft, while The Amazing Race Australia (491,000) third in the slot behind the Nine and the ABC. Hughesy, We Have A Problem (211,000) is in real trouble, hitting a series low. An encore of The Graham Norton Show (98,000) barely a placeholder. 10 fourth in primary (11.2%) & third in network (18.6%) shares.
