The world’s richest 1600m race, the $5 million All-Star Mile, takes centre stage on a huge
day of autumn racing on the Seven Network this Saturday, when fans will enjoy all the live
and free action from Moonee Valley and Ladies Day at Rosehill Gardens.

The prestigious Golden Slipper Carnival kicks off at Rosehill on Saturday when the headline
act will be the Group 1 Coolmore Classic, with Seven’s coverage starting at 12.00pm AEDT
on Channel 7, 7two and 7plus.

Australia’s pre-eminent sports broadcaster Bruce McAvaney will again lead racing’s
undisputed #1 commentary team on Saturday, along with Katelyn Mallyon, Michelle Payne,
Jason Richardson and Sky Racing’s Lizzie Jelfs. Kate Waterhouse will also bring fans all the colour, fashion and celebrity interviews from Rosehill.

Star West Australian mare Arcadia Queen has returned to Moonee Valley to chase a second
consecutive victory for trainers Grant and Alana Williams in the All-Star Mile. But perennial
Group 1 contenders Probabeel, Russian Camelot and Behemoth also have their eyes firmly
on the $2.25 million winner’s prize, while Queensland’s great hope The Harrovian also can’t
be discounted.

In the $600,000 Coolmore Classic (1500m) at Rosehill, Chris Waller is chasing his first win in one of the few major races still to elude him, and the master trainer is well placed to do so with Millie Fox Stakes winner Subpoenaed and runner-up Madam Rouge.

However, boom filly Forbidden Love and Victorian mare Chaillot will be tough to beat after
their respective wins in the Surround Stakes and Frances Tressady Stakes, while
Canterbury Stakes runner-up Mizzy also has the form to claim her maiden Group 1 win.
On an action-packed day at Rosehill, the other highlights include the Group 3 Magic Night
Stakes and Pago Pago Stakes (both 1200m) – the last chances for two-year-olds to earn a
spot in next weekend’s coveted Golden Slipper Stakes – while star mare Colette returns in
the Sky High Stakes (Group 3, 2000m) after her gallant second to Verry Elleegant in las
month’s Chipping Norton Stakes.

At Moonee Valley, Patrick Payne-trained gelding Cherry Tortoni looms as the horse to beat
in the Group 2 Alister Clark Stakes (2040m) after he flashed home to finish second in the
Australian Guineas.

Over the next six Saturdays, racing fans will enjoy the very best racing from the Sydney and Melbourne Autumn Carnivals live and free on Seven, with the highlights including:

• The $3.5 million Golden Slipper Stakes (1200m), the world’s richest race for two-
year-olds and one of five Group 1 races at Rosehill Gardens on 20 March
