So good was the Harry & Meghan interview that Nine couldn’t help themselves by creating a follow-up. It really paid off for them.
Nine back in pole position. A Current Affair (757,000) still pulls the timeslot win. All eyes landed on Married At First Sight (945,000) again now that there’s no big competition. They also dived into the H&M ocean to catch the ratings wave with The Crown In Crisis: Nine News Special (632,000) — and let’s face it, the lead-in didn’t hurt. A delayed Botched (247,000) and the late-night Labour of Love (83,000) bring home a reasonable night for the home of the dots. Nine first in both primary (25.9%) & network (33.6%) shares.
Home and Away (516,000) a good start for Seven, but that’s where it ends. Good news! Ultimate Tag Australia (277,000) went up on last night’s horrific low, but only by 17,000 viewers…so that’s still bad news. If you wanna put some positive spin on it that’s an audience increase of 7%. US dramas The Good Doctor (238,000) and The Resident (140,000)
complete Seven’s continual diabolical primetime run. Seven second in both primary (14.9%) & network (23.1%) shares.
ABC stay in the middle of the road with 7:30Â (575,000), Foreign Correspondent (524,000), and Catalyst (386,000).
Not much happening in the evening with The Truth About Getting Fit At Home (212,000) and a repeat of QI (115,000). ABC third in primary (12.6%) though fourth in network (17%) shares.
10’s The Project (310,000 6:30pm; 451,000 7pm) is so hot and cold you’d think it was a baby’s bath. The Amazing Race Australia (480,000) returns to where it left off though miles away from Monday night. Double repeat eps of NCIS (248,000; 144,000) don’t really add much to help their cause. 10 fourth in primary (11.3%) & third in network (19.1%) shares.
