Nine has confirmed much loved comedian Magda Szubanski as new host of upcoming primetime game show revival The Weakest Link.
Szubanski is set to host the 2021 reboot of the classic game show which previously aired in Australia on Seven in 2001/2002 with host Cornelia Frances.
Nine’s head of content, production and development Adrian Swift confirmed the commissioning telling industry publication Realscreen;

We are very proud to have the new Weakest Link here on Nine.”
The reboot of the series will be produced by BBC Studios for Nine, with production set to take place in Melbourne.
The Weakest Link is set to premiere later this year on Nine.
