The AFL can’t come quick enough for Seven, and 10 will be begging for MasterChef Australia to start.

Nine’s night started great with A Current Affair (704,000) and then beat everything with Married At First Sight (944,000). At this point it looks unbeatable. Framing Brittany Spears (484,000) kept a reasonable audience given it started at 9pm…and one most other networks would crave at 7:30pm. Labour of Love (76,000) gets what it deserves. Nine very first in both primary (26.7%) & network (33.6%) shares.

Seven’s best – Home and Away (578,000) – up on Monday, though still very second in the timeslot. Highway Patrol (310,000) special does nothing (fourth place!), with US dramas The Good Doctor (327,000), The Resident (181,000) and Station 19 (62,000) deliver nothing more than fan service. Seven second in both primary (15.7%) & network (23.8%) shares.

The ABC’s Tuesday is a bit all over the place. 7:30 (578,000) and Foreign Correspondent (437,000) come in second in the timeslot, though after that the audience checks out. Catalyst (268,000), Australia Remastered (160,000) and a repeat of QI (129,000) disappoint overall. ABC third in primary (11.5%) but fourth in network (16.6%) shares.

The Project (240,000 6:30pm; 431,000 7pm) starts of 10’s night at a limp waddle, not helping The Amazing Race Australia (479,000) which, to its credit, comes third in the timeslot. A repeat of NCIS (245,000) coupled with a new ep of NCIS: Los Angeles (180,000) complete an underwhelming Tuesday. 10 fourth in primary (11.1%) though third in network (17.6%) shares.
