The Great British Bake Off returns for its 11th season which set records in the UK as the highest rating show in 18 years for the UK broadcaster Channel 4.

The much-loved series returns from Tuesday March 23 at 8.30pm on FOXTEL’s LifeStyle Food channel and available On Demand.

The latest hit season sees new host, quick-witted comedian Matt Lucas join esteemed judges, UK’s leading artisan baker Paul Hollywood, restauranteur and food writer Prue Leith, the utterly hilarious comedian Noel Fielding as his co-host and the all-important twelve amateur bakers.

“I have really enjoyed this series and have been really impressed by the diligence, skill and the stamina of the bakers, and their inventions and I have been really inspired by them. I have enjoyed eating their cakes.

I don’t have anything to compare it to being in the tent.  I will say this, when everyone made their jelly cakes that was the moment, I felt that I was on The Great British Bake Off,” Matt Lucas said.

The Great British Bake Off is the ultimate baking battle where passionate amateur baking fans compete to be crowned the UK’s Best Amateur Baker. This latest season saw production make changes due to COVID, with the twelve bakers entering a bubble for seven weeks in order to make the competition happen.

Each week the bakers tackle a different baking skill, which become progressively more difficult as the competition unfolds.
