This Italian series is a dramatic and gritty retelling of the ancient myth of Rome’s founding.

But this is not just a story of the two brothers raised by a she-wolf.

We follow several outcasts as they fight to survive and take their destinies into their own hands.

Episode One: Latium, 8th century BC. The Thirty Villages of the Latin League live peacefully under the leadership of Numitor, King of Alba Longa.

Forced into exile by a prophecy, his throne goes to the twins Enitos and Iemos.

But Numitor’s ambitious brother, Amulius, has other plans that will change the boys’ fate.

Amulius’ young daughter Ilia, a Vestal virgin, hides a secret. Meanwhile, in Velia a group of young men take off for the woods for a rite of initiation. Among them is the slave Wiros.

In Latin with English subtitles. All episodes will be made available on SBS On Demand following the broadcast of the first episode.
