Seven has confirmed former Daily Edition host, Tom Williams as the latest celebrity to join the All-Star reboot of Dancing with the Stars.
Dancing With The Stars Season 2 Champion Tom Williams will trade real estate for rumba when he steps back into the ballroom for the two week all stars television event, coming soon to Channel 7 and 7plus.
In 2005, TV presenter Tom and professional partner Kym Johnson defeated runners up Ian Roberts and Holly Brisley to take out the title.
Tom and Kym received perfect scores for their Quickstep and their iconic Freestyle in which Tom danced shirtless to Leave Your Hat On and Kiss.
This year Tom will be partnered with Alexandra Vladmirov. They started dance rehearsals last week.
Tom and previously announced all star, Home and Away’s Ada Nicodemou, are two of five former DWTS champions taking part in the upcoming season which sees fan favourites quick-stepping back onto the dancefloor for a second shot at the coveted mirror ball trophy.
Season 6 runner up, broadcaster Fifi Box, is also confirmed for the special all stars season.
The full cast, host and judges for Dancing With The Stars: All Stars will be announced soon.
The series is being filmed at Sydney’s ICC in March.
Tom left Channel 7’s The Daily Edition at the end of 2018 to focus on a career in real estate and is currently a partner at a property technology and reporting firm.
He is married to fashion designer Rachel Gilbert and they have two daughters, Storm and Sloane.
