Time is running out for Australian TV fans to lock in their Disney+ streaming subscriptions before the upcoming price rise.
New subscribers to Disney+ have until February 22 to lock in the current price of $8.99/month or $89.99/year.
From February 23, new customers to the streaming service will be paying $11.99 per month, or $119.99 annually.
Current prices for existing subscribers (prior to February 23) will be honoured for six months, with the price change taking effect on the next monthly or annual renewal date for continuing subscribers following August 22, 2021.
The price changes at Disney+ coincide with launch of the new add-on package Star.
Star will nearly double the amount of content available on Disney+ in Australia, Star will launch with hundreds of seasons from 155 TV series, almost 450 movies and a slate of 4 exclusive Star Originals at launch.
