Spinning a story about a reformed man giving back to his family and community, Easton (Erik Thomson) announces to the world that he’s opening a new restaurant with his niece Diana – in a month.
Just a few problems – they’ve got no money, no space, and the thought of Diana going into business with her demonic brother has sent Denise into complete meltdown, as she threatens to kick Di out of the house.
While Diana preps a trad family dinner to get her mum on board with her new dream, Easton sets about trying to schmooze sexy local winemaker Margot Duplass into giving him her empty restaurant space gratis.
Easton soon realises that simply talking the talk doesn’t cut it anymore, and Diana discovers her family is even more damaged than she imagined, so they come up with a new plan – to have the restaurant inside the detritus of the family home.
