NEWS BREAKFAST & WEEKEND BREAKFAST
After achieving record audiences last year, in 2021 the ABC will again be serving Breakfast seven days a week on ABC TV and the ABC NEWS channel. Michael Rowland and Lisa Millar return with Nate Byrne and Paul Kennedy to give viewers everything they need to know to start their day. On Weekend Breakfast, Johanna Nicholson teams up with Fauziah Ibrahim.
Paul Kennedy and Joe O’Brien are the weak links here. They both try and do this kind of laconic, look-at-me-I’m-so-Aussie delivery, and seem to be forgetting what they’re saying while they’re still saying it. Kennedy especially. Really painful to listen to. Just deliver the news and stop trying to be so casual.
What drivel you spout, Paul Kennedy does a great job as does all the staff on news breakfast.
I think Paul kenneby is great with sport news. Were is he has he left abc
Am missing Paul Kennedy- he did such a great job during lockdown.
Where is Paul Kennedy?
Paul Kennedy sets high standards in sport – all forms of TV news presentation. Tony Armstrong does it well, Catherine Murphy, Georgie. Great team, great presentation.
Awesome team great journalism.
The Drum is outstanding, always great selection of panelists.
Love your work everyone.
I don’t remember when I last saw Paul Kennedy after 9.00AM in the mornings (when I’m up!). I miss him – where is he? The interaction between himself and Joe O’Brien (my absolute fave) I think was enjoyable. Besides, he’s a Collingwood supporter!
I just love the ABC. There is no weak link – everyone is so professional,. The ABC and SBS have spoilt me – I can’t watch the other channels now. ABC knows it’s audience and what we like. The other channels work for their paying backers and push their own agenda on their audience.
Where is pk? I hope all is ok he is sorely missed
PK was apparently sacked by Ita after his interview with Michaela Cash.
