Overall, The Undoing was the second most-watched program for Foxtel in 2020 only trailing Selling Houses Australia Season 13 (694,000). Viewership for the HBO drama skewed toward female viewers in Australia at 64%.

Foxtel Group Chief Commercial and Content Officer, Amanda Laing said:

“We are thrilled with the remarkable success of The Undoing – Australians love Nicole Kidman, and her performance in this event series is breathtaking.

“We are proud to be presenting this premium drama, made available to FOXTEL and BINGE customers through our exclusive Warner Media deal, and can’t wait for our subscribers to enjoy the rest of the series.”

The Undoing follows Grace Fraser (Kidman), a successful New York City therapist, and her husband Jonathan (Grant) who are living the only lives they ever wanted for themselves. Overnight, a chasm opens in their lives: a violent death, a missing spouse and a chain of terrible revelations.

Kidman, also an executive producer, joins forces with Academy Award-winning director Susanne Bier and reunites with Emmy-winning Big Littles Lies creator David E. Kelley for the six-part limited series.

Joining Kidman and Grant on screen are Edgar Ramirez (The Assassination of Gianni Versace), Ismael Cruz Cordova (Mary Queen of Scots), Matilda De Angelis (Il Premio), Lily Rabe (American Horror Story), Noma Dumezweni (Mary Poppins Returns), Noah Jupe (A Quiet Place 2) as Henry Fraser, Jonathan and Grace’s 12-year-old son and Donald Sutherland (The Hunger Games).
