ViacomCBS is the owner of the 10 Network in Australia, however this deal further demonstrates the corporations willingness to sell premium content to other providers rather than hold onto in for their own services such as Channel 10 or its new streaming service Paramount+.

As a lead in to the Express episodes and to kick off the series on FOX ARENA, the premiere episode will air Monday February 1 at 7.30pm AEDT, featuring a “Charlie’s Angels” reunion with guests Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu reuniting with host Drew Barrymore, nearly 20 years since the blockbuster film premiered.

Drew also reunites with long-time friend and co-star Adam Sandler.

“From news to pop culture, human interest to comedy- we can have those amazing discussions that we need to have in order to grow,”

Barrymore said.

“I love exploring everything and finding our way to beauty and wisdom as well as to the heart and humour in life. I want to reach for an intelligent optimism and just have some fun while doing so.”

Drew elevates, inspires and entertains with segments that reflect her personal passions including upbeat news, heart-warming, human interest stories, compelling lifestyle segments, celebrity guest interviews and collective experiences for viewers designed to enhance all our lives.

Group General Manager of LifeStyle and FOX ARENA Wendy Moore said,

“Drew Barrymore is loved by Australian women, her honest, authentic, and down-to-earth approach to her life has endeared her to all of us. The Drew Barrymore Show reflects what women want for ourselves today and we are so excited that we can bring the show to Australia for our Foxtel viewers.”

The Drew Barrymore show features segments, “Designed by Drew”, one of the show’s signature segments and “Drew’s News,” a topical segment where Drew and her guest break down the day’s most surprising and compelling stories from pop culture to human-interest. Funny, informative and inspiring, these stories are curated and shared through Drew’s personal lens of heart, humour and optimism.

Drew Barrymore was born in Culver City, Calif., into a revered acting family that includes, among many others, her grandfather John Barrymore. She started performing in commercials before her first birthday.

At age 6, she was chosen by director Steven Spielberg to co-star as Gertie in “E.T.: The Extraterrestrial.” In 1995 she created her own production company, Flower Films, with partner Nancy Juvonen. Their first film was the 1999 comedy “Never Been Kissed,” followed by the box office hit “Charlie’s Angels” in 2000.

Firmly established as a production powerhouse, Flower Films subsequently produced the features “50 First Dates,” cult favourite “Donnie Darko,” “Duplex,” “Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle,” “Music and Lyrics,” “Fever Pitch,” “He’s Just Not That Into You” and “Whip It” (which she directed and appeared in). Barrymore won a 2009 Golden Globe Award and Screen Actors Guild Award for her role as fallen heiress Edith Bouvier Beale in the lauded HBO production of “Grey Gardens.”

Most recently, she starred in and executive produced the Netflix original series “Santa Clarita Diet” for three seasons. In addition to her lengthy entertainment career, Barrymore is also an entrepreneur who created a successful lifestyle brand, Flower by Drew, in 2013 that has grown to include beauty products, a home line, and an eyewear collection, all available in Australia through Chemist Warehouse.

Drew Barrymore, Chris Miller, Ember Truesdell and Jason Kurtz are executive producers. The show is produced and distributed domestically by CBS Media Ventures Television, distributed internationally by ViacomCBS Global Distribution Group and shot in New York City.

The Drew Barrymore Show on FOX ARENA weeknights at 7.30pm from February 1 and available On Demand on FOXTEL
