Following the first episode ‘Part 1: Rue’ premiering late last year, the second of two special episodes of Euphoria will now premiere early and at the same time as the U.S.
The change in the release date means that BINGE and Foxtel On Demand subscribers can now watch the special from Saturday January 23, rather than the previously advised Monday Jan 25.
The second episode directed by Sam Levinson, titled “F*ck Anyone Who’s Not A Sea Blob,” follows Jules (played by Hunter Schafer) over the Christmas holiday as she reflects on the year. Schafer also serves as co-executive producer on the episode.
Season two of the three-time Emmy® Award winning show has been commissioned with production slated to commence this year.
Euphoria, starring Emmy-award winner Zendaya, is created and written by Levinson, who also serves as executive producer; executive producers Kevin Turen, Ravi Nandan, Zendaya, Drake, Future the Prince, Hadas Mozes Lichtenstein, Ron Leshem, Daphna Levin, Tmira Yardeni, Mirit Toovi, Yoram Mokady and Gary Lennon; Will Greenfield serves as a co-executive producer. Produced in partnership with A24 and based on the Israeli series of the same name, which was created by Ron Leshem and Daphna Levin, from HOT.
