Big Brother and Masterchef Executive Producers promoted in Endemol Shine restructure


The people behind two of Australia’s biggest shows have been rewarded for their efforts as one of Australia’s biggest production houses makes big changes

After reworking the Big Brother format to ratings success, Executive Producer Amelia Frisk has been rewarded with the plumb new role of Director of Content – Sydney in a raft of changes announced by Endemol Shine Australia.

The company, which was recently acquired by Banijay, revealed the changes after promoting commercial director Scott Howard to the role of chief operating officer.

Among the other promotions:

  • MasterChef Australia Executive Producer Marty Benson will become Director of Content – Melbourne;
  • Director of Production Jane Macaulay becomes Director of Production and Post-Production;
  • Director of Development and Creative Services Elliot Spencer is now Creative Director.
