The Australian dog grooming reality format Pooch Perfect has found a new home in the US with the ABC network securing rights to the show.
Rebel Wilson is to return as host for the new series set to premiere in the US later this year.
Television personality Lisa Vanderpump, celebrity dog groomer Jorge Bendersky and veterinarian Dr. Callie Harris will serve as the trio of all-star judges on the new series.
The eight-episode series will showcase 10 of the best dog groomers in the country, along with their assistants, competing in a series of outrageous themed challenges.
The format, which was originally created locally by Seven Studios launched in Australia last year. The premiere episode performed well in the ratings, however viewer interest declined as the series progressed.
Pooch Perfect is proving to be a significant international success story for Seven.
A UK version of the show hosted by Sheridan Smith recently premiered on the BBC.
The format has also been sold to international markets in Germany, Denmark, Portugal, and Canada.
Beyond Rights manage international distribution for the format. Seven receives a share of revenue format fees and distribution proceeds from the sales.
