After months of rumours, leaks and speculation, Channel 10 has finally revealed the official I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! class of 2021.

Think you worked out all the celeb clues and hints? Give yourself a star if you guessed the below celebrities who entered the Aussie jungle. Regular readers of TV Blackbox would have been well ahead of the pack thanks to this scoop.

The cast so far

Jack Vidgen. At just 14, this great singer rose to fame on Australia’s Got Talent. Followed by a stint on the 2019 season of The Voice, he’s back to find his own.

Paulini Curuenavuli. An ARIA Award winning singer and one quarter of mid-2000s pop group Young Divas, she was unmasked as Spider in the premiere season of The Masked Singer Australia.

Jess Eva. After first gracing our screens as a home renovator on The Block, she’s now kicking breakfast radio goals on Triple M Sydney and swapping her alarm clock for a body shock in the Aussie jungle.

Grant Denyer. While he might be pint sized, this TV Week Gold Logie winning host has taken on monster trucks and lived to tell the tale.

Toni Pearen. An actor, TV presenter and singer who burst onto our TV screens on soapie E Street. She’s back to shine her star from the inside out, hellbent on pushing herself outside her comfort zone.

Mel Buttle. She may get up on stage in front of crowds to tell hilarious stories, but this stand-up lady is nervous as hell going into the Aussie jungle.

Abbie Chatfield. Dubbed as the villain on Matt Agnew’s season of The Bachelor Australia, this blonde bombshell is entering camp to set things alight.

Ash Williams. Appearing alongside Charlie Sheen in Anger Management, this comedian’s tussle with Tinseltown has him well trained for the Aussie jungle.

Travis Varcoe. This AFL Premiership winner is used to playing with birds and cats on the field but entering the Aussie jungle is like nothing he’s ever faced on the field.

Nine celebrities all willing and hopefully able, to go the distance to win the cash for their chosen charity.

Will they cut the mustard in the Aussie jungle?

On night one, after being greeted by Dr Chris Brown and Julia Morris who revealed all three would be team captains, Jack Vidgen, Paulini Curuenavuli and Jess Eva heard the dulcet tones of a chopper in the distance.

Before you could scream ‘crikey’, Jack executed his jump first, paving the way for Paulini. Landing in the water, Paulini struggled to make her way back so Jack played the part of the hero and jumped in to help her to shore.

On Jess’ ascent the weather turned. Clearly petrified, there was a split second where panic got the better of her, but she jumped, landing without a hitch.

Faced with choosing teammates, Jack scored Soapy Songbird, Paulini stepped up to Golden Boy and Jess’ fave was Sassy Stand Up.

Grant Denyer, Toni Pearen and Mel Buttle then rocked up to their reservation at King Miguel’s Kitchen and shown to their seats.

With King Miguel himself overseeing the jungle restaurant, the celebs were tasked with answering food related questions. If answered correctly, the celebs were safe, but an incorrect answer meant food in the face, their life in the form of a cupcake being destroyed.

After some full-on face contact with food, Mel walked away the trial winner. Choosing their next teammates, Mel scored Ballsy Bloke, Toni chose Reality Chick and Grant’s new teammate was Hairy Bloke.

Next welcomed into the jungle for fun and games was Abbie Chatfield, Ash Williams and Travis Varcoe. Their stint at the bar took a turn for the worst when the helmet of horrificness was placed on their heads.

As they unlocked padlocks enclosing a precious star, snakes slithered around while jungle critters were poured into the helmets at regular intervals. Abbie was the first to finish with Ash the second, despite being bitten by a snake in the process.

Back at camp, The Hungry Games was revealed. The team winners of daily trials score a hot meal, the second-place team would receive ingredients while the third-place team would receive diddily squat. Nada. Nothing.

With the celebs hitting the hay for their first night’s sleep, little did they know that tomorrow night, yet another celebrity would be joining them.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Sunday To Thursday at 7.30pm on 10 and WIN.
