The big question is whether the network will strip the show multiple nights to air as many episodes as possible before the revised start date of the Australian Open, which now looks set to start February 8.

Channel 10 will already be well into I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!, which launches January 3. It’s next reality franchise The Amazing Race Australia is expected to premiere early February.

Seven’s sales department reveals launch details for Holey Moley

The set of Holey Moley is impressive and the production appeared to be a well-oiled machine when I visited (even though that was the same night Denise Drysdale had a fall).

While the information came via a sales press release, Seven insiders within the programming department are playing coy re the date. The only thing that seems certain is that it will premiere that week, but the actual launch could be later in the week.

January 31 is a semi-final match for the Big Bash League, so we assume Holey Moley will launch the night after, on Monday.

This is one of Seven’s big hope for the year, so it will be interesting to see how it goes.
