Also joining Carols this year are two of the most beloved Disney characters of all time, Mickey and Minnie.

With The Wiggles and Mickey and Minnie taking to the stage, Carols in the Domain is sure to bring festive cheer to children and families around the country

This year’s event will be held on the 18th and 19th of December at the Aware Super Theatre with the broadcast to be screened on the Seven Network at 7.30pm (AEDT) on Wednesday 23 December.

The Wiggles have been entertaining and delighting children for decades and are always the crowd favourite at Carols in the Domain. The festive Wiggly line-up taking to the Carols’ stage includes; Emma Watkins (The Yellow Wiggle), Lachlan Gillespie (The Purple Wiggle), Simon Pryce (The Red Wiggle), together with Anthony Field (The Blue Wiggle).

Also joining Carols in the Domain this year is acclaimed television, music and theatre superstar, Hugh Sheridan, who will take to the stage to perform a high-energy festive number. Home and Away star, Penny McNamee – who brings a strong musical theatre background to the stage, is also sure to have everyone singing
along.

Todd McKenney, one of Australia’s most celebrated performers, will continue the all-star line-up with his signature effervescent energy. Rachael Beck, who is a multi-faceted, award-winning powerhouse of both stage and screen will take to the stage with an unforgettable festive performance.

Seven Director of Network Programming, Angus Ross said,

“2020 has been a challenging year, which makes traditions like Carols more important than ever. As the home to Carols in the Domain for almost four decades, Channel 7 looks forward to bringing some much needed Christmas joy to families right across Australia.”

Topping off a brilliant night of Christmas joy will be global superstars, Mickey and Minnie.

Mickey and Minnie have been planning and working for months and months on a very special celebratory festive performance that will be, in true Disney style – spectacular! Mickey and Minnie will be joined by the big man in the red suit – Santa Claus! Santa’s arrival at Carols is always a very magical moment, and this year will be no exception.

Celebrating its 38th year this year, Carols in the Domain will come to you from the Aware Super Theatre and will broadcast on The Seven Network at 7.30pm (AEDT) on Wednesday 23 December.
