Queensland’s biggest race meeting will again be broadcast live and free in 2021, with the Seven Network extending its rich association with Magic Millions Race Day.

On 16 January, racing lovers will enjoy an action-packed day at Gold Coast Race Club that includes seven races worth more than $1 million, headlined by the $2 million Magic Millions 2YO Classic (1200m).

The 2YO Classic is one of racing’s three biggest two-year-old events, along with the Blue Diamond and Golden Slipper, while the $2 million Magic Millions Guineas (1400m) for three-year-olds is another of the day’s unmissable moments.

Managing Director Seven Melbourne and Head of Network Sport, Lewis Martin, said:

“Magic Millions Race Day is the most exciting day on the Queensland racing calendar and we can’t wait to bring fans all the electricity and action from the Gold Coast once again in 2021. We can’t think of a better way to open our 2021 racing coverage and look forward to continuing our close partnership with the Gold Coast Turf Club.”

Seven’s 2020 racing coverage is set to come to a thrilling end this Saturday with the $1 million The Gong at Kembla Grange and Mooloolaba Cup Day on the Sunshine Coast.

The action kicks off at 1.00pm AEDT Saturday on Channel 7, 7two and 7plus, when Mister Sea Wolf will be bidding for back-to-back wins in The Gong (1600m) against a strong field headed by Golden Eagle placegetter Dawn Passage and Furphy Plate winner Purple Sector.
