Exclusive – Seven and Nine announce holiday programming

The 2020 television ratings season ends on November 28th and viewers can expect summer sport to dominate the airwaves with Nine serving The Australian Open tennis tournament and Seven hitting us with the Big Bash League and Test Cricket.

Surrounding those key events will be a raft of new and returning programming including the much anticipated return of the US sitcom Young Sheldon.

Race Across the World will return for a second season on Nine, airing as double episodes from Thursday 3rd December at 8:30pm.

Desert Vet

60 Minutes will continue into the holiday period with two new installments, with Nine also continuing with new RBT. Desert Vet returns for a second season.

Across the suite of Nine channels, the network will also air the controversial series Labor of Love, plus Carols By Candelight, Country House Hunters Australia, Chicago Med and Escape to the Chateau.

Seven will continue with new episodes of The Amazing Race, Station 19 and Chicago Fire and return Motorway Patrol, Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly and 10 Years Younger in 10 Days.

Seven’s multi channels will keep non cricket fans entertained with Bridezillas, Bushfire Wars, Full Custom Garage, Counting Cars, Big Easy Motors, Leepu and Pitbull, Graveyard Carz, Golden Boy, Pawn Stars, Restoration Workshop, Building Giants, Mysteries of Abandoned, Escape to the Country and Yorkshire Vet.

One Lane Bridge

New series One Lane Bridge will air on 7two after Murdoch Mysteries. 7flix will resume the latest season of Say Yes to the Dress Atlanta, which was pulled from the schedule earlier this year.
