Two weeks left in the ratings race and Nine have timed their run perfectly to bring the year home.

The Block (1,021,000 [977,000 show; 1,065,000 reveal]) and 60 Minutes (526,000) lead the night across FTA TV unchallenged. Nine News Late (271,000) helped Nine into first with strong primary (21.8%) and network (28.9%) shares.

Beat The Chasers (630,000) consistent for Seven, while Crime Investigation Australia (337,000) and Killer Tapes (217,000) added little. Seven land second, delivering solid primary (16.9%) and network (22.4%) shares, though largely because of their News product.

The ABC’s evening kicked off with The Sound (86,000), working hard to provide an alternative to News. Restoration Australia (525,000), Roadkill (351,000) and a repeat of Total Control (100,000) helped Aunty to third overall in primary (9.5%) and network (13.8%) shares.

10 started as strong as they could with what they offer with The Sunday Project (267,000 6:30pm; 393,000 7pm) – down on past weeks. The Graham Norton Show (294,000) working hard to fill a timeslot 10 don’t know how to fill, followed by a repeat of FBI: Most Wanted (154,000) followed by a double episode premiere of single season drama Blood & Treasure (137,000; 95,000) did nothing to help them. 10 fourth, with few signs of hope, in primary (7.2%) and network (12.9%) shares.

Heeler-Watchâ„¢ reveals Bluey (204,000 am; 149,000 pm) does good business, even on a Sunday.

Weekend Sunrise (196,000) does the job, though down significantly on last week, against Weekend Today (193,000) and Weekend Breakfast (177,000 [99,000 ABC; 78,000 ABC News]). Insiders (386,000 [267,000 ABC; 119,000 ABC News]) and Offsiders (206,000 [136,000 ABC; 70,000 ABC News]) continue to be ratings winners for Sunday mornings.
