Pete Evans is currently in Northern NSW preparing to start filming the latest instalment of 10’s jungle reality show

A neo-nazi symbol appeared in a cartoon uploaded to social media by Pete Evans

Sources have confirmed to Ben Norris from The Ben, Rob & Robbo Internet Show the celebrity chef has been signed up by Channel 10 for I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.

But it’s going to be a long 24 hours for Evans and producers as the fallout from Evans’ latest gaffe takes hold.

Today Evans is under fire for Neo-Nazi content he posted on social media.

While the meme of a caterpillar and butterfly might seem harmless enough, the inclusion of the neo-nazi Black Sun symbol is anything but.

And Evans knew exactly what he was doing.

When a Facebook user pointed out the Black Sun symbol, Evans replied:

“I was waiting for someone to see that”

As Pedestrian pointed out, The Black Sun was developed by Heinrich Himmler — one of the most powerful men in Nazi Germany.

To make matters worse that symbol was recently used in the manifesto of the Christchurch shooter.

This latest outrage has led his book publisher Pan Macmillan to terminate their relationship with Evans, saying:

Pan Macmillan does not support the recent posts made by Pete Evans. Those views are not our views as a company or the views of our staff. Pan Macmillan is currently finalising it’s contractual relationship with Pete Evans and as such will not be entering any further publishing agreements moving forward.

If any retailer wishes to return Pete Evans’ books please contact Pan Macmillian.

Evans and producers have been holding crisis talks at the Northern NSW production site where IAC will be filmed. An hour ago producers forced him to post an apology (or sorts) on his facebook account:

Unfortunately this doesn’t hold water as Evans previously admitted he knew what the symbol meant (see above)

The big question now is will channel 10 allow Evans to enter the jungle when filming start tomorrow?

  1. No he should not be given any platform. He’s a disgrace. He’s been peddling his dangerous nonsense for years now and now this!!!!! He knew what he was posting. It’s proven and leaves no doubt. No one in their right mind wants to see him in anything.

  2. If Pete Evans is in celebrity, I won’t be watching. You have really hit a all time low if you go ahead with it!

  3. You do realize that the meme he posted was an anti-nazi meme? It’s implying that trump supporters inevitably evolve into nazis. Do you know what context is? Gutter journalism for insipid drones.
