Brady-Brees battle headlines Week Nine NFL action on ESPN

Two NFL legends will collide in Week Nine NFL action on ESPN as Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints try to stop the rise of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, led by the revitalized Tom Brady, and a returning Antonio Brown. 

Week Nine sees ESPN Australia New Zealand bring another five live games, with the action kicking off on Friday November 6.
 
Friday’s matchup at 12.15pm AEDT is between two of the NFL’s most storied franchises as the Green Bay Packers tackle the San Francisco 49ers.
 
Aaron Rodgers and his Packers will be heavily favored in this one, with 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo ruled out of the clash.
 
Garoppolo will miss 4-6 weeks with an ankle injury, making life all the more difficult at a crucial time of the year, as the 49ers sit 4-4.
 
Monday’s triple-header kicks off in fine fashion, as the Seattle Seahawks meet the Buffalo Bills at 5am AEDT.
 
Two of the form teams of the NFL, the Seahawks currently lead the NFC West at 6-1, whilst the Bills are leading the AFC West at 6-2.
 
Victory will be a huge statement to the rest of the competition, with the playoffs looming large and both looking like contenders in 2020.
 
At 8.25am AEDT, we see another installment of a classic NFL matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers facing off against the Dallas Cowboys.
 
Dallas are not enjoying a great 2020 campaign, at 2-6, and life will not get any easier against Pittsburgh.
 
The Steelers are yet to lose a game this season and will look to continue their grip on the AFC North.
 
However, the biggest game of the round is Monday’s final game at 12.15pm AEDT, between the New Orleans Saints and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
 
While the focus will be on the quarterback clash between Drew Brees and Tom Brady, the return of Antonio Brown to the NFL may just steal the headlines.
 
Brown shocked the world with the news that he would return from his second retirement (and NFL suspension) with the Buccs.
 
It means one of the most dominant offences in the NFL adds another attacking weapon for Brady to exploit.
 
The clash has huge ramifications in the NFC South conference, as the Buccs and Saints sit first and second, making Monday’s clash must see for many reasons.
 
The Week Nine coverage concludes on Tuesday November 10 at 12.15pm AEDT with the New England Patriots meeting the New York Jets.
 
Another conference rivalry between two sides that have struggled considerably in 2020.
 
The Jets are still looking for their first win of the campaign, and sit bottom in the AFC East. The Patriots at 2-5, sit only one place higher in the conference standings.
 
Pride and bragging rights are very much at stake for either side, with playoffs hopes well and truly gone.
