Even though celebrities are dropping like flies it was enough that Nine’s marathon construction reality series was getting to the pointy-ish end.
SAS Australia (676,000) bounced up a little from Monday on Seven, thought it wasn’t enough to beat The Block (819,000) on Nine as the halo of Monday night’s final main building room reveal extended into Tuesday. Junior MasterChef Australia (474,000) on 10 continues to pull criminally small audiences.
At 8:30pm it becomes a whole different ball game. Seven leant on pro-China schlockfest film The Meg (287,000), up against the second episode of The Trump Show (417,000) on Nine and a repeat of Ambulance Australia (317,000) on 10. With that line-up, honestly…nobody wins.
Outback Ringer (423,000) and Big Weather and How to Survive It (411,000) drew healthy audiences for the ABC against the commercial networks. Insight (193,000), a Dateline repeat (116,000), and The Feed (46,000) continue to do good business on Tuesday for SBS.
Sunrise (250,000) consistently dominant against The Today Show (220,000) and ABC Breakfast (204,000 [142,000 ABC; 62,000 ABC News]).
