Nine’s reality construction show benefits from former contestants participating as the main house reno wraps up.
Good news for The Block (809,000) as it breaks weekly tradition and bounces up ahead of the final main house room reveal on Monday (delayed due to NRL final). Hard Quiz (671,000) continues its run as the most popular quiz show on Australian TV, and Gruen (738,000) slid from the massive season premiere however still delivering stronger numbers than anything Seven (repeats of Highway Patrol – 430,000/392,000) or 10 offered. The audience faltered for Nine at 8:30pm though, with Australian Crime Stories (376,000) underwhelming audiences.
The Bachelorette Australia (464,000) delivered its lowest numbers of the season to date; surely casting a cloud over both the franchise and the idea to have two women in the central singular role.
Gogglebox Australia (173,000) continues to be Foxtel’s biggest show by far on Wednesday nights.
Sunrise continues its run unbeaten and rises slightly (234,000), as The Today Show (208,000) and ABC Breakfast (189,000) both dip slightly.
