Classic 1950’s David Attenborough series ZOO QUEST restored in colour by BBC

It changed the way viewers saw the world and launched the career of the young David Attenborough as a wildlife presenter.

Broadcast 10 years before colour television, Zoo Quest was thought to have been filmed in black and white.

Until now… Using extraordinary colour film discovered recently, together with new behind-the-scenes stories from David Attenborough and cameraman Charles Lagus, this film showcases the very best of Zoo Quest in stunning HD colour for the very first time.

Zoo Quest – Australian Premiere – Mondays at 8.30pm from October 19 on BBC EARTH
