The ultimate trans-Tasman battle erupts when the mighty Wallabies face off against archrivals, the All Blacks, in the world’s first Test match since the COVID-19 lockdown.

With the two sides regarded as legitimate superpowers on the world rugby stage, the Bledisloe Cup is one of the hardest crowns to win.

The New Zealanders boast a 23-game, 19-year winning streak on home soil against the Wallabies. With those stats, only the bravest of Wallabies fan would hold out hope for a win.

But with a new coach, and 16 uncapped players in Dave Rennie’s 44 man squad, could there be change in the air? One thing for sure, if the underdogs plan on coming away with a win across the ditch, they will need to dig deep. Real deep.

10 Sport’s Scott Mackinnon will host the broadcast, along with the voice of rugby Gordon Bray, and former Wallabies great and 10 News First sport presenter, Matt Burke.
