Welcome to the Blumhouse is a collection of four unsettling, spine-tingling suspense movies produced by Jason Blum’s Blumhouse Television and Amazon Studios. Each film presents unique perspective on common themes centered around family and love as redemptive or destructive forces, showcasing exciting up-and-coming talent, alongside established actors in exceptional and shocking new roles.

Premiering on 6 October, The Lie tells the story of two desperate parents who attempt to cover up their daughter’s horrific crime, leading them into a complicated web of lies and deception, and stars Mireille Enos (The Killing), Peter Sarsgaard (An Education) and Joey King (The Kissing Booth 2, The Act).

Black Box stars Mamoudou Athie (Jurassic World 3, The Circle), Phylicia Rashad (Creed), Amanda Christine (Colony)Tosin Morohunfola (The Chi, The 24th), Charmaine Bingwa (Trees of Peace, Little Sista), and Troy James (The Flash, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark) and sees a single father undergo an agonizing experimental treatment that causes him to question who he really is.

Launching the following week on 13 October, Evil Eye portrays a seemingly perfect romance turn into a nightmare when a mother becomes convinced her daughter’s new boyfriend has a dark connection to her own past. Sarita Choudhury (Mississippi MasalaLady in the Water), Sunita Mani (GLOW), Omar Maskati (Unbelievable), and Bernard White (Silicon Valley) star.

Completing the collection, Nocturne goes inside the halls of an elite arts academy, where a timid music student begins to outshine her more accomplished and outgoing twin sister after discovering a mysterious notebook belonging to a deceased classmate.  The film stars Sydney Sweeney (EuphoriaThe Handmaid’s Tale, Player’s Table)Madison Iseman (Jumanji: The Next LevelAnnabelle Comes Home), Jacques Colimon (The Society) and Ivan Shaw (InsecureCasual).

The Walking Dead: World Beyond, 2 October

The Walking Dead: World Beyond expands the universe of The Walking Dead, delving into a new mythology and story that follows the first generation raised in a surviving civilization of the post-apocalyptic world. Two sisters along with two friends leave a place of safety and comfort to brave dangers, known and unknown, living and undead on an important quest. Pursued by those who wish to protect them and those who wish to harm them, a tale of growing up and transformation unfurls across dangerous terrain, challenging everything they know about the world, themselves and each other. Some will become heroes. Some will become villains. But all of them will find the truths they seek.

Co-created by Scott M. Gimple and showrunner Matt Negrete, the 10-part series  stars Aliyah Royale as Iris, Alexa Mansour, Annet Mahendru as Huck, Nicolas Cantu as Elton, Australian actor Hal Cumpston as Silas, Nico Tortorella as Felix, and Julia Ormond as Elizabeth.

The highly anticipated Savage X Fenty Show Vol. 2 is an extraordinary fashion experience featuring a combination of models, actors and dancers wearing the latest savage styles, with special performances from some of the hottest names in music.

As a follow up to last year’s ground-breaking event, this year’s show is raising the bar and will include performances from an all-star lineup including hip-hop icon Travis Scott and international superstars Bad BunnyElla MaiMiguel, MustardRoddy Ricch, and Rosalia during the experience.

The Biggest Movies Streaming in October

The biggest stars, the biggest stories and the biggest movies are coming to Amazon Prime Video in October. From award-winning performances to action-packed blockbusters and family favourites, Amazon Prime Video has something for everyone for the perfect movie night-in.

Truth Seekers
30 October

Truth Seekers is an eight-part series that revolves around a group of part-time paranormal investigators who team up to uncover and film ghost sightings across the UK, sharing their adventures for all to see. However, as they stake out haunted churches, underground bunkers, and abandoned hospitals with their array of homemade ghost-detecting gizmos, their supernatural experiences grow more frequent, more terrifying and even deadly, as they uncover a cult leader’s mass conspiracy to sacrifice his unwitting followers to achieve immortality.

The Amazon Original series stars Nick Frost as Gus, Samson Kayo as Elton,  Emma D’Arcy as Astrid, Malcolm McDowell as Richard, Simon Pegg as Dave, Susan Wokomaa as Helen and Julian Barratt as Dr. Peter Toynbee.
