The world’s best golfers will descend on the Winged Foot Golf Club in Mamaroneck, New York for the 120th edition of the 2020 US OPEN teeing off from September 18-21 with tournament coverage LIVE and EXCLUSIVE and in HD on FOX SPORTS on Foxtel.
Originally scheduled for June, the 2020 US Open is the second major tournament for the year following the PGA Championship last month.
The US Open Championship is the annual national golf championship in the United States, with the winner awarded up to a $12.5 million purse, the largest of all four major championships.
FOX SPORTS 503 will present daily coverage with LIVE first round action to begin from 2.00am on Friday, September 18. Coverage will continue across the weekend with LIVE final round coverage on Monday, September 21 from 2.00am.
The field will include a host of former champions and potential contenders. They will include America’s best and past US Open champions, Brooks Koepka, Dustin Johnson and defending champion Gary Woodland. Also vying for the win will be Collin Morikawa after claiming his maiden win at the PGA Championship last month.
Leading the Australian charge will be Jason Day, Marc Leishman, Cameron Smith as well as Adam Scott who placed in the top 10 at last year’s US Open.
