As the Prime Minister struggles to gain full consensus on his plans to open up Australia before Christmas, ongoing border closures remain contentious.
There’s no doubt they’ve helped contain Covid cases, but the pain for business, health care workers and families in need of medical attention is growing. Thousands of Australians also remain stranded overseas, faced with a cap on international arrivals, soaring ticket prices and quarantine costs.
So, who’s got the power when it counts? Are we getting the balance right when it comes to restricting free travel in the name of public health?

Michael McCormack, Nationals Leader and Deputy Prime Minister

The show will close with a live performance from 17 yo Australian Evie Irie performing her latest song “Little More Love”.
