NZ North v South Island and Brumbies v Reds make for a Super Rugby Saturday on Foxtel

Rugby fans are in for a treat this weekend with a triple-header of action from both sides of the Tasman in rugby’s ‘Super Saturday’ with New Zealand’s North v South game and Super Rugby AU Round 10 with every game LIVE and EXCLUSIVE and ad-break free on FOX SPORTS on Foxtel.

The best of the best in New Zealand rugby will go head-to-head in a clash between the North and South Islands on Saturday, September 5 from 5.05pm.

Among some of the mouth-watering match ups will be the All Blacks fly-half Beauden Barrett facing challenger Richie Mo’unga. Crusaders lock Sam Whitelock has been named as captain of the South team, with Blues lock Patrick Tuipulotu leading the North side. LIVE coverage from kick off at 5.05pm AEST on FOX SPORTS 505.

Over on Australian soil, it’s the final round in the Vodafone Super Rugby AU with the minor premiers, the Brumbies (1st), up against the Reds (2nd) in the headline match.  

The Brumbies have already clenched the top spot and a home grand final and will be looking to size up their main competition. LIVE coverage begins from 7.15pm AEST on FOX SPORTS 505.

The Melbourne Rebels behind Matt Toomua will be fighting for their place in their first Super Rugby finals series, needing at least a bonus point win over the Western Force to knock out the NSW Waratahs out of a finals spot. LIVE coverage begins from 3.00pm AEST on FOX SPORTS 505. 

Following this weekend, the top three teams will progress through to the finals series, with the second-placed side to host the third-placed side in the Qualifying Final next Saturday, September 12.

The winner of the Qualifying Final will go head-to-head against the Brumbies in Canberra for the Super Rugby AU title on Saturday, September 19.
