Disguised beneath all sorts of costumed wizardry, tonight’s unmasked singing celebrity Isaiah Firebrace got the party started with Pink’s Raise Your Glass.
Sadly it sadly spelled out the end of his journey as Wizard on The Masked Singer Australia.Â
There is just no stopping guessing panellist Jackie O’s impressive winning streak this season. Before the reveal, our celebrity sleuth successfully pieced the mystery together yet again to place a correct bet on singer Isaiah Firebrace.Â
All signs pointed to Troye Sivan for Dannii Minogue, while Urzila Carlson thought fellow South African Dean Geyer was hiding out under Wizard. Dave Hughes threw in a random curveball late in the piece with a stab at Jet’s lead singer Nick Cester.
When asked by host Osher Günsberg what it was like to sing anonymously, Firebrace said:
“The whole experience has just been crazy, I really do feel grateful. This is probably the best way to spend lockdown.”
Our remaining three masked identities put on a cracker of a show, which will see them live to sing another day in Australia’s wildest guessing game.
Bushranger gave the guessing panel goosebumps with their rendition of Be Alright by Dean Lewis, which Urzila Carlson claimed to be better than the original, and Cactus brought a prickly touch to I Touch Myself by Divinyls.
To close out the show, naughty Kitten purred their way to the cracking crescendo of One Direction’s hit cover One Way Or Another.
