Charlie Pickering & Peter Overton help celebrate 50 episodes of The Ben, Rob & Robbo Show as viewing figures are revealed

This week our internet experiment hits a big milestone as we finally get some details on how many people are watching

The Ben, Rob & Robbo Show is celebrating 50 episodes

It’s hard to believe but our little internet show is about to hit the big 50! On Tuesday we’ll stream episode 50 of our experimental TV show.

Hitting this milestone seemed like a good time to perform an audit of our viewing audience. The results show over 70,000 people per week are now watching The Ben, Rob & Robbo Show through Ticker TV, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. We’re still in the very early stages but this number gives us a lot of confidence in what we’re doing. We’re especially thrilled at the high level of engagement from our viewers, who share their feedback daily.

This week, to help us celebrate 50 episodes we’ll be joined by The Weekly’s very own Charlie Pickering, who just happens to be celebrating 100 episodes of his ABC show.

Journalist Peter Overton will also be stopping by to share some tall tales about his reporting days and how he became Sydney’s #1 newsreader. 9 News has been unbeatable with Pete at the helm and shows no sign of slowing down.

Also this week we’ll be joined by the eliminated contestants from Channel 10’s MasterChef and Channel 7’s Big Brother.

Over the past 50 episodes we’ve broken stories which have been picked up by various news websites and chatted with some of Australia’s biggest stars, including:

  • Kyle Sandilands
  • Dave Hughes
  • Julia Zemiro
  • Jessica Rowe
  • Carlotta
  • Ita Buttrose
  • Joel Creasey
  • Peter Helliar
  • Steve Jacobs
  • And many more

In the coming weeks we have a very big announcement which will help us grow those numbers even more.

Last week co-host Ben Norris reported on location in Melbourne as the city went into lockdown. We were able to prove our news credentials as well as deliver engaging conversations with our Hot Button Topics.

The Ben, Rob & Robbo Show delivers news with views… and entertainment too!
